I have missed you during your absence. It feels like it has been months since I have seen your gleaming face. Your father has had people doing his taxes all spring, and he is very stressed. Your mother has been busy cooking and lightening your father's mood, while it has still not improved, despite your mother's fervent efforts. You're cousins have been cleaning the barn for your tenth birthday, and should be ready mid-day tomorrow. I will come get you from uncle Billomon's manor tomorrow morn. Your celebration begins promptly at 5 o'clock. Everyone is invited so you must be ready an hour early. I must go to help prepare dinner, but i can still help you dress. Don't be late!
Your dearest friend,
The Nurse
